Misty Clapsaddle

Misty Clapsaddle is the youngest member of Soul Purpose and generally sings the alto part, but you will sometimes find her singing lead.  She began singing with Soul Purpose as a young child standing on a little stool on the stage next to her family.  Her favorite songs to sing around the house as a child were the well known gospel song, "The Lighthouse" and "The Mickey Mouse Club" which subsequently earned her the nickname of "Mouse" from her family.  Over the years, her mama taught her to hear harmony parts and her passion was ignited for gospel music.  "There's just no other music like it!  It's God's music!" she says.

Misty pursued music performance, worship leadership and biblical studies at Cincinnati Christian University and is the mother of a charming teenage son, Christopher.  You will find Misty loves letting her love for Jesus show.  From her duties as Emcee for the group to handling all of the social media, website and PR details, she likes to show the excitement and joy of sharing the gospel message to the world.  Some have even compared her voice and stage presence to gospel great, Vestal Goodman.  What a blessing!

As a Legal Aide working for Franklin County, she keeps a busy schedule, but hopes to someday make ministry her full-time occupation.
